About me

Hi, I’m Nursultan. I’m a BSc/MSc student at Innopolis University, a research-focused institute in Russia. I work as a Senior ML Research Engineer at Yandex Search (100M+ MAU), responsible for fundamental ranking and deep learning technologies.

Previously, I did ML/DS at Avito, quant research at a hedge fund, and was involved in research projects at MBZUAI, MIPT, IU, and SPBU.

My main interests are large-scale ML, AI research, and quantitative research. On the AI research side, my background is mainly in efficient deep learning, but lately I’ve been more drawn to embodied AI, machine reasoning, and brain–computer interfaces.
